A programme in remembrance of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was conducted on the 14th and 15th April on the Occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s 133rd Birth anniversary in Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai.
In this programme, which was scheduled for 2 days, various intercollege competitions were conducted like elocution competition, painting competition and mobile photography competition.
And camps like Eye checkup Camp and blood donation camps were organised.
The programme was organised by Dr.babasaheb Ambedkar Medicos Association(DAMA) under the able guidance of the Dean Dr. Wasundhara Patil(Bhad).
On 14th April, a programme commemorating Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Birth Anniversary was held in front of Dean’s chamber which hosted events like Candle lightening, elocution competition etc.
On 15th April, students of Government Dental College witnessed a Career Guidance lecture by our Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh Gawande, Regional Passport Officer, Head of Branch, Secretariat of Ministry of External Affairs, Mumbai. He also inaugurated the two Camps, eye checkup Camp and blood donation Camp organised by the College.
Winners of the competitions were also felicitated by the hands of the chief guest and our Dean ma’am.
At the end, the programme was concluded by the vote of thanks and national Anthem.
