Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai realizes the importance of issues like gender sensitization, environmental issues, human values, and professional ethics by including these topics in the curriculum.

Ethics and human values are important aspects of the dental profession which includes a system of principles governing dental practice; a moral obligation to render the best possible quality of dental service to the patient. The code of ethics guides our students in distinguishing between right and wrong. Students are taught to protect human dignity, integrity, self -determination, confidentiality, rights, and the health of the population.

The college conducts various programs like Swachata Abhiyan Drive, National Integration Programs, Tree Plantation Drive, and programs on gender sensitization and woman empowerment.
