Under the guidance of our dynamic Dean Dr. Dimple Padawe ma’am, the team of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery is celebrating the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons week with great enthusiasm.

On the very first day of a great series of events, a basic life support (BLS) workshop, mentored by Dr.Poornima Sonkamble (Anaesthetist) along with her team, was successfully conducted wherein 68 interns were bestowed with life saving knowledge as well as practical hands on for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on mannequin.
The events was concluded with great success and was highly appreciated by participating Interns.

​”Dr. Vilas Takate, Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Government Dental College and Hospital (GDC), Mumbai, recently successfully completed the ‘Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026’. For this achievement, he was felicitated on the occasion of the ‘DENTREPRENEUR’ Dental Education Research Summit III 2026.”
