Happy to share that the Basic Life Support Workshop for Supporting staff and Dental Hygienist students was organised and conducted Under the guidance of our Respected Dean, Dr. Wasundhara Bhad (Patil). The Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery organised a “Hands-on Workshop on Basic Life Support” on 29th & 30th November 2024. Dr. Poornima Sonkamble(Associate Professor, Anaesthesiology, Grant Medical College, Mumbai) and her team members conducted the workshop. It included a comprehensive lecture on Basic Life Support which was delivered in Pharmacology Practical Hall followed by hands-on session for the participants. The workshop was attended by 40 participants.
Other team members from the department of Anaesthesiology included Dr. Ashwin Sonkamble, Dr. Apurva S. Kasbe, Dr. Ankit Dhawale, Kalpita Dhavan, Sanika Pedhvi. Dr. Abhilasha Yadav(HOD), Dr. Kavita Wadde, Dr. Samir Khaire, Dr. Monali Patil, Dr. Prathamesh, Dr. Vishnu, Dr. Anisha from Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery took efforts to ensure that the workshop was conducted smoothly.
