The Marathi Day of our Annual College Festival “HARMONY 2024 – KIAROS” was successfully celebrated with great enthusiasm on 27th February 2024 within the college premises, under the guidance of our beloved Dean ma’am, Dr. Wasundhara Bhad ( Patil ) as the chairperson of our event, the Marathi Vangmay Head – Dr. Vilas Takate and the organization of the Marathi Vangmay Secretaries Abhishek Bhosale and Roshani Nagtode. All the students participated in this event in great numbers. This date was specifically chosen to commemorate the MARATHI BHASHA DIVAS which marks the birth anniversary of a great Marathi poet VISHNU VAMAN SHIRWADKAR and KUSUMAGRAJ.

The event began in the evening at 6 pm when the event was inaugurated by our Chief Guest – Sri. Anand Limaye Sir who is an IAS officer ( Retd. ) and currently holding the position of being the Member, Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission ( MERC ). Along with the inauguration, Lamp ceremony and GRANTH PUJAN also took place by the hands of the Chief Guest, our beloved Dean ma’am, Dr. Vilas Takate, Dr. Rajesh Gaikwad and General Secretaries. This was followed by the Dean’s Address and a small speech by our Chief Guest and thus began the celebrations. There were several traditional dances which was beautifully choreographed by our dear choreographers Vishal sir and Shraddha ma’am and singing programmes that took place but some of them stood apart like The Dindi, Lavni, Jogwa and several other dance performances along with Kathi na Ghongada, Abhanga and several other singing performances. The event was concluded with our stars performing an exceptional DRAMA PERFORMANCE – NAVRA MAJHA DOOSRYACHA which was a funny family drama which was a cherry on the top.
