Under the able guidance of our Dean , Dr.Wasundhara Bhad(Patil) mam, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery conducted a HPV Vaccination Sensitization Programme for Interns,Clinical assistants and Postgraduate students in LT-2.
The session was attended by around 43 students. It included a short presentation on HPV virus and diseases caused by it and the preventive role of HPV vaccine, which was delivered by Dr Prathamesh.
The role of the HPV vaccine in preventing various diseases, including cervical cancer, was emphasized and the queries of the students were well answered to by Mr.Mandar(MSD technologies).

Students were encouraged to inform about their willingness to take the vaccine in next few days,so that arrangements could be made for the same.
Dr. Kavita Wadde, Dr. Samir D. Khaire, Dr. Monali Patil, Dr. Prathamesh from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Mrs Meghamala took efforts to ensure that the program was conducted smoothly.
