A Conference was organised by Centre of Excellence, Department of Microdentistry, muhs regional center ,Mumbai in collaboration with research commitee of government dental college and hospital mumbai, for Undergraduate students on Research and In-clinic indirect, all ceramic esthetic
single visit CAD CAM restorations for Post graduate students in dentistry on the 5th and 6th of april 2024.
In Research Conference lectures on various topics like research proposal, research hypothesis, data collection, questionnaire designing and research ethics etc. by were conducted by Dean Dr. Wasundhara Bhad (Patil) madam, Dr. Easwaran, Dr. Vijayalaxmi, Dr.Tabita Joy, Dr. Arti, Dr. Sumedh Sonavane, Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Dt. Jyoti Wankhade and Dr. Manoj Ramugade.
the program was organised by dr sayed abrar with the help of dr kishor sapkale and dr manoj ramugde under the leadership of the dean dr Wasundhara Bhad (Patil).

In the workshop for Postgraduates lecture was conducted on Artificial intelligence in dental research by Dr. Pankaj Gupta along with hands on. After that a lecture and live on patient demonstration was conducted on use of CAD CAM in Dentistry by Dr. Abrar Sayed. Subsequently, students made an optical impressions through scanning of prepared teeth in patients and delivered the final prosthesis to the patient in the same sitting.
It was a very delightful and enriching conference and workshop.
The valedictory function was graced by our Hon. Vice Chancellor Dr. Madhuri Kanitkar Madam. During this, a news letter and compilation book on last 5 years publications by GDCH, Mumbai were released.
Hon. Vice chancellor inspired the students through her address. She motivated themto achieve excellence in academics and to become clinical academicians overall to enhance health services in the college and country. She also boosted students to participate more and more in research and innovation so that in India becomes globally proud. The conference was concluded after vote of thanks by Dr. Sangeeta.
