Under the guidance of our Dean, Dr. Wasundhara Bhad (Patil) mam, The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai organised workshop on “Biomedical waste management” for Students and supporting staff on 22/07/2024 and 23/07/24 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in LT2. Workshop was introduced by Dr. Kavita wadde (HOD Dept of OMFS) maam.
Lecture and workshop was carried out by Dr. Sharan Kadamba (Assistant Professor in Department of Microbiology, JJH .The workshop also included an interactive discussion with supporting staff and Final year students
The program was concluded with vote of thanks. This programs aids in increasing the knowledge of health care workers regarding proper disposal of Biomedical waste and as part of of value added course for undergraduates.
