Under the guidance of our able Dean, Dr. Wasundhara Bhad (Patil) mam, The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai organised a workshop on “Infection Control and Sterilization ” for Dental Hygienist Students and Supporting staff in Pharmacology Laboratory . Workshop was introduced by Dr. Kavita Wadde (HOD Dept of OMFS) maam.
Lecture and workshop was carried out by Dr. Sabina M. Jahagirdar (Assistant Professor in Department of Microbiology, GGMC AND Sir J J group of Hospital) .The workshop also included an interactive discussion with supporting staff and Dental hygienist Students.
The workshop was concluded with vote of thanks. This workshop aids in increasing the knowledge of supporting staff and Dental hygienist students regarding prevention of Transmission of Infections within clinical Environment.
