Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai, organized an Interns Orientation Program on 17th March 2026 to familiarize interns with various aspects of the internship training program. The program was led by Dr. Niraja Jaiswal, Intern In-charge, under the guidance of respected Dean Dr. Dimple Padawe Ma’am.

The program began with Dr. Niraja Jaiswal explaining MUHS guidelines for internship. This was followed by the inauguration, where Dean Ma’am and Department heads lit the lamp. Dean Ma’am emphasized the importance of a sound attitude and discipline, guiding interns on becoming good professionals. Dr. Tabita Joy madam, UG Incharge and Head of Oral Pathology Department briefed them on the college’s Code of Conduct, and Department heads shared Dos and Don’ts for each department.

An interactive workshop on setting up and managing a dental clinic post-BDS was also conducted. The program concluded with a vote of thanks.
