International Women’s Day Celebration 2025 at GDCH Mumbai…..

Under the guidance of our respected Dean, Dr. Wasundhara Bhad, our institute celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event saw active participation from both men and women.

The celebration began with a visit to the “Epic Eat-Queens Lunch” food stall, where various departments offered a diverse range of delicious food.

The inaugural session featured esteemed guests, Mrs. Saroj Jagtap (Assistant Director, Samagra Shiksha Mumbai) and Mrs. Nanda Raut (Deputy Secretary, Cultural Department, Mantralay). They delivered insightful lectures on women empowerment and women and culture. Our Dean, Dr. Wasundhara Bhad, and Dr. Sonali Kadam also delivered lectures on women in todays society and the history of Women’s Day. The session was executed under leadership of Dr Sonali Kadam and team.

A cultural program, skillfully conducted by Dr. Dimple Padawe, showcased the talents of participants from all departments. The session was moderated by Dr. Rajesh Gaikwad, Dr. Suryakant Powar, and Dr. Vilas Takate.

The Women’s Day celebration was a resounding success, with participants and attendees gaining a deeper understanding of the significance of “Accelerate Action.” The event served as a powerful platform to promote women empowerment, gender equality, and social change.
